Announcement of the extension of the deadline for accepting applications for the mini-grant competition

Within the framework of the project

«Breaking the Vicious Circle: A Multifaceted Approach to Combating Torture in Kazakhstan»,

funded by the European Union 

Based on the Minutes of the Grant Competition Commission Meeting dated May 21, 2026, we hereby announce the extension of the application submission deadline for participation in the mini-grants competition.

The decision to extend the deadline has been made in order to ensure openness, transparency, and broader participation of civil society organizations in the competition.

Extension of the Application Deadline

New application submission deadline: until June 25, 2026, inclusive.

Priority Areas (Lots)

Lot 1.

Legal and psychological assistance to victims of torture, cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment or punishment.

Lot 2.

Psychological and psychiatric assistance, as well as the development of rehabilitation methodologies for persons who have survived torture and ill-treatment, including persons with PTSD.

Lot 3.

Training of trainers for the National Preventive Mechanism (NPM), preparation of regional trainers, and strengthening the capacity for monitoring closed institutions.

The application package must include:

• completed application form;
• project budget;
• copies of the organization’s registration documents.

Applications submitted after the указанного deadline will not be considered.

Additional Information

Applications previously submitted remain valid and do not require resubmission.
